Mortality Monday

I heard “Another One Bites the Dust” play on the radio on my commute to work this morning and as the song ended, the DJ said:

“And to this last weekend, gone FOREVER!”

That actually made me think for awhile. Gone forever. No exchanges, no return policy. History. Buh Bye.

Wow. I’m already paranoid about a near-future apocalypse but this nonchalant quote really makes sense and makes you want to take each day that much more seriously. Well, at least not waste your Saturday taking 4 hours naps.
