QR Codes. Also know as: “cryptic messages”, “branded blocks” and “those squiggly things”. Actually, it means “Quick Response Code” which acts like a bar code that stores online information (i.e. links and text) and is scannable by your mobile phone. The technology and concept has been around for years, but the news just got to me. I get it and so does our generation. SXSW is promoting QR Codes as their main means of connecting attendees. I’ve even prepared my own QR Code Card just for this event!
